It's been a while since I made a card with Riley and here he is carrying his Christmas tree! I used the new Pinefeather card stock from PTI as the card base and topped it with a snowflake patterned paper. Riley is colored with Copics and I added Polar White Flower Soft at his feet to make it look like he's walking in the snow. The image is cut out with Labels 9 nestabilities, I added stickles on the snowflakes and red/white twine (instead of ribbon). Isn't he a cutie pie?

It's A Banner Birthday!
With the holidays, I haven't had too much time to play with my new PTI sets and I've been dying to use the new Banner Builder set and here it is! This card was so much fun to make! I started with Enchanted Evening blue for the card base and then used a striped pattern of blues and greens. I layered Avocado, Spring Rain and white and stamped "happy birthday" from Birthday Bash Sentiments.
I stamped and cut out the "string" that holds the banners. Using the banner dies, I cut large banners for the back and small banners for the front. I stamped the smaller ones with coordinating colors of blues and avocado. I added the banner toppers and tiny white balloons with John's name spelled out. The balloons and banners are on 3d foamies. Happy Birthday John!

Thanksgiving Continued
This was a fun card to make! I used Orange Zest for the card base and topped it with Debbie Mumm holiday paper. I stamped the pumpkins from Take Three: Fall and embossed them with a heat gun. I then colored the pumpkins using a q-tip and orange ink, the stem is colored with a Copic. I cut them out using Labels 15 nestabilities and edged it with a little orange ink. I added a strip of coordinating paper, the sentiment and a gold leaf.

Happy Thanksgiving!
This is one of my favorite PTI stamp sets - Vintage Picnic - since it can be used for so many different occasions. I used Orange Zest for the card base and layered it with Vintage Cream and a striped orange pattern paper. The image is colored with Copics and cut out with the Mat Stack 4 die; I stamped a few more pumpkins and put them in front of the basket with a 3d foamie. I added glitter on the tops of the pumpkins, the sentiment is from Take Three: Fall, ribbon, and of course, one of my favorites - photo corners using Pure Poppy. Enjoy this day with your family and friends!

Birthday Present
For male cards, I like to use browns and dark colors so started this one with a Kraft card base and layered it with black and a striped scarlet pattern paper. I used the stamps (frame and present) from Tiny Treats Christmas and cut out the frame using the Mat Stack 1 die. The present is colored with Copics; the sentiment is from Sign Language. I added the banner (using my new banner dies!) behind the frame and a couple of metal dots (can't do too much bling for a man! lol). Happy Birthday Markie!

Mums Birthday
I'm starting to play with my November PTI purchases; this is Year of Flowers: Mums. I can't believe the details on this stamp! I used white for the card base and topped it with a layer of Berry Sorbet and Sweet Blush. The mum and leaves are colored with Copics and I spritzed the mum with Glimmer Mist. I added the sentiment (from Birthday Basics) and a Berry Sorbet ribbon.

Sweet Thing
Isn't this little girl just adorable? This is a Penny Black stamp called "Sweet Thing" and is she ever! I used pink for the card base and topped it with two different pattern papers - one striped, the other polka dots. The image is colored with Copics and cut out with standard and lacey circle nestabilities. I dotted the cupcake with silver Stickles, added a little bling to the banner and tied a ribbon at the top. Perfect card for someone who loves pink!
Thank you Jill for the stamp image!

Peace
I have a lot of Cuttlebug embossing folders and I really don't use them much at all. I used this tree folder with plain white cardstock. I colored the trees with a little blue using chalk applied with a q-tip, then rubbed it with my finger to really soften it up. The "Peace" is embossed using "Silver Tinsel" embossing powder by Stampendous (it's a little more sparkly than the regular silver). The card base is PTI's new Blueberry Sky cardstock and a layer of navy blue. The snowflakes are dotted with Silver Stickles and as a final touch, I sprayed the entire card with Glimmer Mist.

Happy Birthday Wreath
This is another one of my favorite sets from PTI - Wreath For All Seasons. I used Plum Pudding for the card base and topped it with a piece of solid green and a flowered, light purple pattern paper. I stamped the wreath on Vintage Cream cardstock using brown, green and lavender inks and cut it out with the Mat Stack 4 die. Light purple ribbon and a few pearls finish the card.

Special Birthday Rose
I was asked to make a "special friend" birthday card - I love the rose from PTI's Year of Flowers: Roses set and thought it was a good choice for this card. The card base is white and then layered with a soft pink, flowered pattern paper. The rose image is colored with Copics; I cut it out and sprayed it with Glimmer Mist so it sparkles just a little bit. I stamped the leaves onto a soft green paper and cut them out. I added the pink border at the bottom using a Martha Stewart border punch, crystals on the tops of the scallops and a white ribbon. The sentiments are from two different PTI stamp sets.

Peach Peonies
I really have been getting a lot of use from this Peonies Lockhart stamp! I started with a white card base and topped it with a layer of peach colored pattern paper; the paper was double sided and I used the back to make the striped strip on the left hand side. The image is colored with copics and cut out with oval deckled nestabilities. I added the tag, ribbon and metal embellishments.

Baby Cards
I wanted to make a few baby cards to have on hand and had packs of Jolee's baby stickers and made these cards. For the boy card, the card base is Spring Rain, a layer of white and a layer of baby boy pattern from Joann's, and I added the ribbon. The girl card is the same except I used Sweet Blush for the card base.

Anniversary Hearts
And another anniversary card......I started with white for the card base and topped it with a piece of Sweet Blush that I embossed with a Cuttlebug embossing folder. I cut out three hearts with nestabilities and paper pierced the white hearts. I added the sentiment, some pearls and a ribbon and the card is done!

Love Is In The Air
Have I mentioned how much I love the Tiny Treat sets from PTI? The plane and sentiment is from the Valentine set; I thought this made a cute anniversary card. I started with a white card base, followed by a layer of sage green and a layer of green flowered paper for the background. The hearts were made using nestabilities; I stamped the plane and colored it with Copics. The heart border is a Martha Stewart punch and I used the little hearts it punched out around the plane.

Marigold Birthday
And yet another October set from PTI! This one is called Year of Flowers: Marigolds. I used Summer Sunrise for the card base and layered it with a two tone, orange striped paper and a rectangle of black. I colored the marigold and leaves with Copics and sprayed them with Glimmer Mist. I added the sentiment and felt it still needed something and added the black photo corner.

Cozy Winter Birthday
This is another October set from PTI called On Ice. I couldn't wait to use this set! I used Kraft for the card base and topped it with Spring Moss and a snowflake pattern paper from a DCWV holiday stack; I used a eyelet border on the bottom. I cut out the skate with a die, stamped it with black ink and slightly colored it with 2 shades of gray Copics. I laced up the skates with light blue twine and added pompoms - I couldn't find sparkly pompoms so made my own by putting a little glue on them and dipping them in Martha Stewart tinsel glitter. Next I sprayed the entire skate with Pearl Glimmer Mist....they really sparkle in person! I stamped the sentiment and added the ribbon and crystal snowflake.
