It's another Tuesday and time for transforming a card I wasn't so crazy about when I first made it. I remember making this card for the February 2017 Blog Hop and never really liked the final product. So it's time for an update to make it a little more appealing.
This is the "old" card:
For the updated version, I decided to stick with most of the same colors and the diamond pattern. On white cardstock, using a diamond stencil, I stenciled around the edges in Soft Stone ink. I die-cut the wraps in pattern paper and backed each one with white cardstock for support.
The flowers are die-cut in white cardstock and stamped with Raspberry Fizz, Spring Moss and Prairie Grass inks. Can you tell Spring Moss and Prairie Grass are my go to stem colors? I arranged the wrap-ups, placing the right one on foam tape for dimension.
The sentiment is stamped in black ink. I trimmed the panel and adhered it to a True Black cardstock card base.
