Merry Christmas...

Can you take another Christmas card? lol I think this is the last one I have to post for this year.

On Kraft cardstock, I stamped the wreath in Fresh Snow ink, several times, using the Misti to get a nice looking white image. Next, I stamped the wreath with Spring Moss ink, slightly moving the stamp a little bit to give it a shadow look. The leaves are stamped in Ripe Avocado ink and the flowers in Scarlet Jewel ink. I also stamped the sentiment in Scarlet Jewel ink.

I edged around the card in Fresh Snow ink and rounded the corners. I added jute and glitter to finish the card.

Card Details:
  • Stamps:  PTI Sprig Wreath, Christmas Faith, Propose A Toast
  • Paper:  PTI Kraft
  • Ink:  PTI Fresh Snow, Spring Moss, Ripe Avocado, Scarlet Jewel
  • Tools:  Corner Rounder
  • Other:  Glitter; Jute
  • Size:  4.25" x 5.5"

Happy Holidays...

When I bought the Post & Parcel kit, I knew I'd have to use it to make the annual Christmas card for my parent's mail carrier.

I started with a piece of white cardstock and lightly rubbed Enchanted Evening ink on it to create the sky. I stamped the falling snow in Versamark ink, sprinkled it with white embossing powder and heat set it. Next, I added the snowdrifts and the birch trees, both die-cut in white cardstock.

The mailbox post is die-cut in Kraft cardstock and embossed with woodgrain. The mailbox is stamped in Smokey Shadow ink and the snow on it embossed in white. The greenery is stamped with Spring Moss ink, the ornaments in Enchanted Evening and the candy canes and berries in Pure Poppy ink. I used a Copic marker on some of the leaves to give them a darker green color. There's a slot in the mailbox so I was able to slip the greenery into it so it's secured. Betsy Veldman thinks of everything!

I die-cut the flag in Pure Poppy cardstock and attached it to the mailbox with a brad, allowing the flag to move up and down. I stamped "mail" on the side in Fresh Snow ink. The mailbox is die-cut three times and glued together for dimension. The panel is on an Enchanted Evening cardstock card base with a bit of blue showing on the right.

Final steps - added the two birds, die-cut in Pure Poppy cardstock and stamped the sentiment in Pure Poppy ink. I added just a little bit of glitter on the card. This is one of my favorite cards I made this holiday season! Post & Parcel is a wonderful kit!

Card Details:
  • Stamps:  PTI Make It Market Post & Parcel Kit, Keep It Simple: Happy Holidays; Altenew Snowing
  • Paper:  PTI Enchanted Evening, White Stampers Select, Pure Poppy, Kraft
  • Ink:  PTI Pure Poppy, Smokey Shadow, Spring Moss, Enchanted Evening, Fresh Snow; Versamark

Papertrey December 2016 Blog Hop Challenge...

I didn't think I'd have time to make something for this month's Blog Hop, but I wanted to because it means I participated in every Blog Hop challenge this year! This month's inspiration wasn't hard to get ideas from - as soon as I saw the Hawaiian Shores and Lovely Lady stars I knew what I wanted to do (even though these colors are a bit out of my comfort zone!😎).

I die-cut my stars in Hawaiian Shores, Lovely Lady and Aqua Mist cardstock. To add some dimension to the card, the Hawaiian Shores stars are die-cut and stacked three times, Lovely Lady die-cut and stacked 2 times and Aqua Mist die-cut once.

The card base is white cardstock, with a strip of Hawaiian Shores stripes on the left side. I placed the stars in a random pattern, leaving a space for the sentiment, stamped in black ink.

I added glitter to the stars and rounded the right bottom corner. It's busy this time of year so I'm happy I was able to make a quick card to enter the challenge.

Card Details:
  • Stamps:  PTI Keep It Simple: Happy Holidays
  • Paper:  PTI White Stampers Select, Hawaiian Shores, Lovely Lady, Aqua Mist, Hawaiian Shores Stripes
  • Ink:  Versafine Onyx Black
  • Dies:  PTI Sketched Stars
  • Tools:  Corner Rounder
  • Other:  Glitter
  • Size:  4.25" x 5.5"

Sweet Holiday Wishes...

Merry Christmas!🎄 This is the card sent to family and friends this year. Betsy Veldman made a card similar to this, and as soon as I saw it, I knew I wanted to make it too.

I die-cut all of the cookies in white cardstock. The tree is stamped in Kraft ink with a Mint Julep cardstock center, embossed with white embossing powder. The middle cookie is stamped with Spring Rain ink and has a white cardstock center. The star is stamped in Kraft ink with a Pale Peony and white cardstock center. Last, the candy cane is stamped in Pale Peony ink and the smaller candy cane is Pure Poppy ink stamped on white cardstock.

Sweet is die-cut and stamped with Cocoa Bean ink. I stamped Holiday Wishes in Pure Poppy ink on a white cardstock banner, placed on fun foam for dimension.  The loops at the top are die-cut in Pale Peony cardstock. The panel was placed on a Mint Julep cardstock card base with a bit of the green showing at the bottom.

One I placed everything on the card I added lots of glitter to the loops and the cookies to make it like they're drenched in granulated sugar. This was such a fun card to make!

Card Details:
  • Stamps:  PTI Sweet Holiday Wishes
  • Paper:  PTI Mint Julep, Pale Peony, White Stampers Select
  • Ink:  PTI Kraft, Spring Rain, Pale Peony, Cocoa Bean, Pure Poppy; Versamark
  • Dies:  PTI Sweetest Holiday Wishes, Loop de Loop II, Building Banners
  • Tools:  Heat Tool
  • Other:  Glitter; Fun Foam; Zing Embossing Powder

Star of David...

Hanukkah starts tonight and this is the card I sent to my Jewish friends. I normally put the sentiment "Happy Hanukkah" on the front of the card, but this year I decided to change things a bit and make the Star of David the center of attention.

I die-cut the star in white cardstock and popped out the pieces, leaving just the outline in white. I filled in the star with Spring Rain, Blueberry Sky and Enchanted Evening cardstock. I repeated this two more times, stacked them together and placed it on a pinking circle die-cut in silver foil paper.

For the background, I used an argyle embossing folder with Enchanted Evening cardstock. I placed it on a white cardstock card base, leaving a little white showing on the right side. I wrapped silver cording around the bottom of the card to complete it.

Card Details:
  • Paper:  PTI Enchanted Evening, Spring Rain, Blueberry Sky, White Stampers Select; Silver Foil
  • Dies:  PTI Menorah Medley; Pinking Circle Nestabilities
  • Tools:  Cuttlebug Argyle Embossing Folder
  • Other:  Cording
  • Size:  4.25" x 5.5"

Family & Friends...

I used this set once for a birthday card, but I think it's really supposed to be for Christmas since the sentiments are more holiday related.

I die-cut the tower of gifts in white cardstock and stamped it with Pure Poppy and New Leaf inks. The dimensional bows are die-cut in white three times, stacked and stamped with the same ink colors. I added a little clear gem for some sparkle.

I placed the gift tower on white cardstock, adding a strip of coordinating striped pattern paper at the top and bottom. The sentiment is stamped in black ink. The panel is on a Pure Poppy cardstock card base with a bit of red showing on the left side. I added some white crochet thread to finish the card.

Card Details:
  • Stamps:  PTI Gifts of The Season, Holiday Wishes
  • Paper:  PTI White Stampers Select, Pure Poppy; DCWV
  • Ink:  PTI Pure Poppy, New Leaf; Versafine Onyx Black
  • Dies:  PTI Gifts Of The Season, Fabulous Frames

Holiday Photo Cards (MIM #270)...

I think this is PTI's final Make It Monday for the year and I'm happy to say I participated in every one (and won in March so it paid off!). This week Ashley Newell shows us how to use photos with clear cardstock on holiday cards. You can watch her do it here ⇢⇢ Make It Monday #270: Holiday Photo Cards.

Well, I don't have any holiday photos printed (isn't everything digital now?) but had this holiday picture of a chair with presents on it that I mounted on white cardstock. Next, I took a piece of clear cardstock and placed it over the front of the picture. I scored about 1/2" at the top of the clear cardstock and folded it over the back of the card, securing it with scor-tape.

Christmas is die-cut in luxe gold adhesive cardstock which was easy to attach to the clear cardstock! I added gold cording at the top to finish the card. One thing I don't like about clear cardstock is that everything sticks to it from static electricity and if you touch it, it gets marks on it. It's a wonderful idea, but I'd go crazy making a lot of these to send out! 😳

Here it is closed:

And opened - hopefully you can see how Christmas is "floating" on the clear cardstock:

Card Details:
  • Paper:  PTI Clear Cardstock, White Stampers Select, Luxe Gold Adhesive
  • Dies:  PTI Wet Paint: Holiday
  • Other:  Photo; Gold Cording; Scor Tape

Merry Christmas Tag...

I really haven't had a chance to use the new Post & Parcel kit - but I have big plans for it in 2017! I just have to get started making things earlier (and hope PTI doesn't come out with a kit that I like more).😬 I needed to make a gift card holder and decided to use the mailbox from the P&P kit after watching Betsy Veldman's video and all the wonderful things she made.

I used Pure Poppy cardstock for the front and back, covering the front with a pretty pattern paper. I die-cut the top in Spring Rain cardstock, cutting a slit in it so I could easily slide the gift card into it. And look at the cute little lock I added in Pure Poppy cardstock and tied with white crochet thread!

Merry Christmas is stamped in Pure Poppy ink on a banner die-cut in Spring Rain cardstock; it's on fun foam for dimension. I added punched out snowflakes with a clear sequin in the middle.

For the gift card, I die-cut the large postage die in white cardstock and adhered it with a couple of glue dots. I think everything is so color coordinated and since it's a snowman, the snowflakes were the perfect addition! I placed the tag in a cellophane bag with snowflakes on it and made a matching little gift tag to tie at the top. Unfortunately, I forgot to take a picture of the finished project.😞

Project Details:
  • Stamps:  PTI Keep It Simple: Christmas
  • Paper:  PTI Pure Poppy, Spring Rain, White Stampers Select; DCWV
  • Ink:  PTI Pure Poppy
  • Dies:  PTI Post & Parcel Make It Market Kit, Tag Sales: Quilted
  • Tools:  Martha Stewart Snowflake Punch; Corner Rounder
  • Other:  Sequins; Fun Foam; Crochet Thread

Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas...

I've had this Christmas card kit for a few years and thought they would make cute little cards for SAS4K. The kit included the card base, including the pop up portion at the top, plus the envelopes.

I took the green paper and embossed it with stripes and adhered it to the red card base. I die-cut the circle in white, stamped the outer stitches in New Leaf ink and the sentiment in Pure Poppy ink. I placed the circle on foam tape for dimension.

I had lots of 3D stickers from Michael's - candy canes, Santa, snowman, reindeer, etc. so what better way to use them! Depending on the card, I added the Loop-de-Loop border at the bottom or punched out snowflakes. Fun and quick cards to make...I hope the kids enjoy them!

Card Details:
  • Stamps:  PTI Jolly Holiday, Borders & Corners: Circle
  • Paper:  PTI White Stampers Select; Papercut Bib Overlay Kit; DCWV

Papertrey Dec 2016 Create Along With Us...

I love this card Laurie Schmidlin made - it's so soft and delicate looking. I was inspired by the wreath and the scalloped edges. I'm still having fun making Christmas cards and used the new Sprig Wreath set for my card.

I die-cut the wreath in white cardstock and stamped it with Spring Moss and Ripe Avocado inks. I added the pine cones in Cocoa Bean ink and the little berries in Pure Poppy ink.

The wreath is on foam tape for dimension, adhered to a Soft Stone cardstock card base die-cut with the Scalloped A2 die. I stamped the sentiment in the middle with Pure Poppy ink.

I added a bow die-cut in Pure Poppy cardstock and glitter to finish the wreath.

Card Details:
  • Stamps:  PTI Sprig Wreath
  • Paper:  PTI Soft Stone, Pure Poppy, White Stampers Select

Happy Birthday...

I made this card for my blog friend Susi and picked this set because I know she loves flowers! I didn't want to post it until I knew she received it because she peeks at my blog quite often.😊

I die-cut the flowers in white cardstock and stamped them in vivid ink colors - Raspberry Fizz/Pure Poppy, Summer Sunrise/Morocco and Lulu Lavender/Amethyst Allure. The leaves are also die-cut and stamped in Spring Moss/Pistachio inks. I used the Misti to make sure I had complete ink coverage and the images precisely lined up. Isn't there more pressure to make a perfect card when one crafter is sending something to another crafter? 😕

I arranged the flowers on the card and stamped the sentiment in Smokey Shadow ink. Then I remembered I just bought a new frame die from PTI and die-cut it in white cardstock to surround the bouquet. Last step was adding a few clear sequins.

I'm so happy with the way this card turned out - I like the colors I picked, but most of all the Sprig & Leaf Frame is just a lovely addition to the card.

Card Details:
  • Stamps:  PTI Rosie Posie, Rosie Posie Step 2, Keep It Simple: Birthday III
  • Paper:  PTI White Stampers Select
  • Ink:  PTI Raspberry Fizz, Pure Poppy, Summer Sunrise, Amethyst Allure, Spring Moss, Smokey Shadow; Memento Lulu Lavender, Morocco, Pistachio

Merry Christmas...

Here's another clean and simple card I made for SAS4K.

I used pre-made card bases from a set I bought last year at the end of the season. I picked a nice Christmas green and added a cute layer of pattern paper with holiday dressed bears and penguins, leaving an edge on the right side.

The sentiment is stamped in Pure Poppy ink on a stitched border adhered to fun foam for dimension. A little bit of red fun fur finished things.

Card Details:
  • Stamps:  PTI Keep It Simple: Christmas
  • Paper:  PTI White Stampers Select; Recollections; Debbie Mumm Harvest & Holidays
  • Ink:  PTI Pure Poppy
  • Dies:  PTI Tag Sale: Quilted
  • Other:  Fun Foam; Fun Fur

It's Your 60th Birthday...

I know I use this stamp set a lot for birthdays and couldn't resist using it again for someone who's turning 60. I like that I can put the birth year on the sign.😄

I masked 1/4" around the white cardstock base, and with a makeup brush, applied Green Parakeet ink for the grassy area and Aqua Mist and Hawaiian Shores inks for the sky. I like it when you pull off the tape and it gives you a sharp, clean edge! I added the blades of grass in Green Parakeet ink.

I die-cut the sign bases in Smokey Shadow cardstock. For the left sign, along with white cardstock, used Lemon Tart stripes pattern paper and Hibiscus Burst cardstock, embossing the year with white embossing powder. The circle with 60 is die-cut three times and stacked. For the right sign, I die-cut the arrows three times in white cardstock, stacked and stamped them in Green Parakeet, Hawaiian Shores and Hibiscus Burst inks.

There was too much space at the top of the card so I die-cut the clouds and added some clear sequins to them.

Card Details:
  • Stamps:  PTI Retro Style Graduation, Retro Style Birthday Sentiments; WPlus9 Unforgettable
  • Paper:  PTI White Stampers Select, Smokey Shadow, Hibiscus Burst, Lemon Tart Stripes
  • Ink:  PTI Green Parakeet, Hawaiian Shores, Aqua Mist, Hibiscus Burst, Smokey Shadow; Versamark

Embossed & Outlined Backgrounds (MIM #269)...

And another week has quickly passed by and it's time for Make It Monday. This week Betsy Veldman shows us how to use embossing and markers on stamped images to help them stand out. This week's challenge is Make It Monday #269: Embossed & Outlined Backgrounds.

I wanted to use an older set and pulled out In The Meadow. On Spring Rain cardstock, I stamped the snowmen in Versamark ink and sprinkled them with white embossing powder. Next, I heated the embossing powder - I just love to watch this stuff melt! I stamped the little snowflakes the same way.

Using a Copic marker, I drew a thin outline around the snowmen to help highlight them. I decided against outlining the snowflakes so there would be a contrast between the embossed images.

The banner is die-cut three times in Blueberry Sky cardstock and stacked together; the sentiment is stamped in black ink. I placed the panel on a white cardstock card base. I couldn't resist and added white fun fur around the top of the card. Fun technique!

Card Details:
  • Stamps:  PTI In The Meadow, What The Doodle: Snowflakes
  • Paper:  PTI Spring Rain, Blueberry Sky, White Stampers Select

Santa Has Some Favorites...

I've wanted this stamp set, Jingle All The Way for a long time and finally got around to purchasing it. I wish I bought the dies that went with it...so they're now on my wish list.😎

I stamped Santa on a piece of white cardstock die-cut with a stitched rectangle and colored him with Copic markers. I used a little bit of pink chalk to give him rosy cheeks and added glitter to his beard and the fur on his hat.

The sentiment is stamped in black ink and the panel adhered to a Pure Poppy cardstock card base. A pompom on his hat and some clear sequins finish the card.

Card Details:
  • Stamps:  My Favorite Things (MFT) Jingle All The Way
  • Paper:  PTI Pure Poppy, White Stampers Select
  • Ink:  Memento Tuxedo Black; Versafine Onyx Black
  • Copics:  100, E50, N4, R29

Enjoy Your Special Day...

Back in May, PTI's Make It Monday (see post here) was about making things with folded money. I made a star out of dollar bills and a friend asked me if I would make the same star for her brother-in-law's 60th birthday card.

On white cardstock I stamped the streamers in Pure Poppy, New Leaf, Enchanted Evening and Spring Rain inks. I attached the panel to an Enchanted Evening cardstock card base.

I folded the money (2 twenties, 1 ten, 2 fives = $60) into a star and attached it to the card. I die-cut a pinking circle in Enchanted Evening and layered it with a circle in white cardstock. The "60" is die-cut in silver foil paper and layered on top of two layers of white cardstock for dimension.

I stamped the sentiment in Enchanted Evening ink and added a bunch of little silver star sequins to finish the card.

Card Details:
  • Stamps:  PTI Hooray, Think Big Favorite #24
  • Paper:  PTI White Stampers Select, Enchanted Evening; Silver Foil
  • Ink:  PTI Pure Poppy, New Leaf, Enchanted Evening, Spring Rain
  • Dies:  PTI Block Alpha Numbers; Pinking and Standard Circle Nestabilities

Holiday Wishes...

It's hard to believe it's December!! What happened to November??😳

Sweet Holiday Wishes has to be my favorite stamp set I bought this year - I'm a big cookie baker and this stamp set makes me happy every time I use it.

On white cardstock, I stamped the trees in Kraft, Mint Julep and Pure Poppy inks. I added the little holly and berries using the same ink colors.

The banner is die-cut in white cardstock, stamped in Pure Poppy ink and on fun foam for dimension. I placed the panel on a Kraft cardstock card base and added the red string. I'm all about sparkle and added glitter to the trees to represent sugar. Cookies must have sugar on them!😊

Card Details:
  • Stamps:  PTI Sweet Holiday Wishes
  • Paper:  PTI Kraft, White Stampers Select
  • Ink:  PTI Kraft, Mint Julep, Pure Poppy

Double Layer Tags (MIM #268)...

What a fun post this week by Dawn McVey - and it's wonderful to see Dawn crafting again - she's been missing in action for a few months due to illness. In this week's video, Make It Monday #268: Double-Layer Tags Dawn shows us how to make layered gift tags.

I've had Tag Sale: Quilted for some time now and haven't used it yet. It was really hard to buy on PTI because it kept going out of stock! So this was a nice tag to use for this challenge.

I die-cut the tag in Pure Poppy cardstock and added a layer of Holiday Plaid pattern paper. The What The Doodle: Snowflake is die-cut in white three times and stacked together. I die-cut a solid snowflake image in Pure Poppy cardstock and adhered it to the back. I like how you can see just a few peeks of red showing through.

The banner is die-cut in Soft Stone cardstock and the sentiment stamped in Pure Poppy ink. I placed it on fun foam for dimension. I decided to add some sparkle and spread glue all over the snowflake and drenched it in coarse glitter.

I die-cut the tag in white cardstock for the back layer and stamped it with "to and from" in Pure Poppy ink. I added a silver bell at the top tied with grey twine. I love the way this double layer tag turned out and will be making more of them!

  • Paper:  PTI Pure Poppy. White Stampers Select, Soft Stone, Holiday Plaid
  • Ink:  PTI Pure Poppy

Thank You...

Here's a quick card I made using my new Altenew Simple Flowers stamp set - using the flower shape to create a background. It gives the card a fun and different look!

On white cardstock I stamped the shapes in Pure Poppy, Berry Sorbet and Sweet Blush inks - this is another color combination I'm going to have to remember because I like it so much! I stamped the sentiment in black ink to finish the card.

Card Details:
  • Stamps:  Altenew Simple Flowers; WPlus9 Hand Lettered Thanks
  • Paper:  PTI White Stampers Select
  • Ink:  PTI Pure Poppy, Berry Sorbet, Sweet Blush; Versafine Onyx Black

Papertrey November 2016 Blog Hop Challenge

Lots of ideas this month from the inspiration photo - so many pretty colors, the trees, stockings, presents and ornaments. I'm glad this month was easy because I've been busy with the usual year end rush of getting things done for the holidays. Each year I say I'm going to start earlier, but that never seems to happen!😎

On a piece of white cardstock, I stamped the tree in Versamark ink, sprinkled it with gold embossing powder and heat set it. The little dots around the tree are stamped in Hawaiian Shores ink and the ornaments colored with a Copic marker. I stamped the tree stand in Tropical Teal ink and the star in Raspberry Fizz ink.

Merry Christmas is stamped in Tropical Teal ink on a piece of Hawaiian Shores cardstock with a bottom border of gold foil cardstock. It's on fun foam for dimension. I lightly edged the panel with Raspberry Fizz ink and placed it on a Hawaiian Shores cardstock card base.

You can see the embossing a little bit better with the card on an angle:

Happy 21st Birthday...

A friend of mine asked me to create a money band for a gift of bills she was giving her son for his 21st birthday. I wanted to do a little more than just wrapping a band around the money.

For the background, I took a piece of cheery birthday pattern paper and adhered it to a piece of white cardstock for support. The money has a piece of navy blue cardstock wrapped around it for the band. I die-cut a scalloped circle in white cardstock and added a layer of Lemon Tart cardstock that I scored with lines.

The numbers were die-cut in Simply Chartreuse and white cardstock and placed on the yellow circle, with the "one" on foam tape for dimension. The blue band is adhered to the pattern background so it won't move.

I placed the money in a clear box (an empty PTI stamp box) and added confetti on the bottom to make it more festive looking.

Project Details:

Papertrey Nov 2016 Create Along With Us...

I wasn't planning to make something for this contest because I'm making more Christmas cards right now than birthday cards. Then I saw Laurie Willison's simple birthday card and used the same idea for a Christmas card.

Here's Laurie's card that I used for inspiration:   ⇓  ⇓  ⇓

For my card, I started with a piece of white cardstock and stamped Happy Holidays in Pure Poppy and New Leaf inks. I really like these two colors together - very Christmasy! I added a strip from Holiday Plaid along the right side.

I felt like the card had a little too much blank space at the bottom and added the dotted double line. Quick and easy - which is really nice during this hectic time of year!😳

Card Details:
  • Stamps:  PTI Keep It Simple: Happy Holidays, Inside & Out: Love
  • Paper:  PTI White Stampers Select, Holiday Plaid
  • Ink:  PTI Pure Poppy, New Leaf
  • Size:  4.25" x 5.5"

Merry Christmas...

Just a simple card today using printed pattern paper and ready made cards.😊

I added a pretty stocking and candy cane pattern paper onto a store bought green card base. I bought a bunch of these card packs one year at Michael's after Christmas so I think it's about time I started using them!

Next, I die-cut the stocking in red and white paper. I die-cut a few candy canes in white cardstock and stamped them with green and red inks. I adhered them to the back of the stocking and sprinkled them with a little glitter.

I placed the stocking on foam tape. The sentiment is stamped in red ink on a strip of white cardstock and is on foam tape for additional dimension.  I like how the stocking and candy canes match perfectly with the pattern background!

Card Details:
  • Stamps:  PTI Peaceful Pinecones, Christmas Critters
  • Paper:  PTI White Stampers Select; Recollections; DCWV
  • Ink:  Color Box Warm Red, Sour Apple
  • Dies:  PTI Christmas Critters, Building Blocks; Memory Box Eyelet Stocking

Walking In A Winter Wonderland...

I fell in love with this deer (Altenew's Modern Deer stamp set) when I saw it - look at that sweet face!

I started with a piece of white cardstock and lightly rubbed Enchanted Evening ink on it to create the look of a wintry sky. Next, I stamped the deer in Kraft ink, adding his eyes and hooves in Cocoa Bean ink.

I stamped the snow on the background and around the deer, sprinkled it with white embossing powder and heat set it. I added the tree and the snow drift, also die-cut in white cardstock. The sentiment is embossed with gold embossing powder.

I placed the panel on a piece of fun foam and adhered it to a Dark Indigo cardstock card base. I thought it needed a little color so I added the little red bird.

Card Details:
  • Stamps:  Altenew Modern Deer, Snowing
  • Paper:  PTI Dark Indigo, White Stampers Select
  • Ink:  PTI Enchanted Evening, Kraft, Cocoa Bean; Versamark

Not A Creature Was Stirring...

This card is very similar to one that Amy Sheffer made during PTI's September release. But it was so cute I had to make it for myself with a couple of changes. These little critters are adorable!!🐭🐭

I die-cut the Keep It Simple frame in white cardstock and placed it in the middle of a white cardstock card base. Next, I die-cut the mice, and with the help of the Misti, stamped them in Seattle grey ink with Pale Peony ears. The sweater is stamped in Green Parakeet ink and the scarf and candy cane in Pure Poppy ink. The nose is stamped in black ink and I added the eyes with a thin, black marker.

I placed the mice on foam tape for dimension. Next I die-cut the holly and stamped it in the same green and red inks, adding it to the frame corner. I stamped the sentiment and added a strip of Holiday Plaid pattern paper along the bottom of the card. A little bit of glitter on the holly was the final step.
