Wishing You Peace & Joy (Tag #10)

And finally, the last of the tags! By the time I got to this one, I was getting tired and wanted to do something quick.

I die-cut Tag Sale #6 in Kraft cardstock. Using the technique from Make-It Monday #232, I first stamped the leaves and pine cones in Fresh Snow ink. When it dried, I added the next layers, slightly overlapping them in Ripe Avocado and Dark Chocolate inks. The sentiment is also stamped in Dark Chocolate.

I edged around the tag with Fresh Snow ink and also dabbed some of it over the image to give it a snowy look.  The tag hole reinforcer (is that what it's called?) is die-cut in Ripe Avocado cardstock. I looped jute through the hole as the tie and added glitter to the pine cones. The tag was placed on a white cardstock backing to make it a little sturdier.

Project Details:
  • Stamps:  PTI Peaceful Pinecones
  • Paper:  PTI Kraft, Ripe Avocado
  • Ink:  PTI Ripe Avocado, Dark Chocolate, Fresh Snow
  • Dies:  PTI Tag Sale #6

More Ornaments

In addition to the scenery ornaments posted yesterday, I made two other designs. I think next year if I make these again I'm just going to stick with one design. It'll make it easier and everyone will get the same ornament.

The first layer, the sky background, is Aqua Mist cardstock. Using my "Falling Snow" stencil, I applied embossing paste to give it a nice dimensional looking snow. The next layer, the trees, is die-cut in white cardstock and colored by rubbing Spring Moss ink on them. I cut one additional layer in white, a snow drift. All of these are covered with glitter.

The snowman is die-cut in white cardstock and colored with Copics. I added a lot of glitter to him and a pompom on his hat. He's on foam tape for dimension. I stamped the banner with Pure Poppy ink and placed it across the top of the globe. I added the snow and put the globe together.

The next ornament is based on a card I made using the Warmest Wishes set. The background is a light grey striped pattern paper. I die-cut the trees, stamped and embossed them with white embossing powder and rubbed Tropical Teal ink on them with a blending tool. On top of the ink, I applied Versamark ink with a make-up sponge and brushed on white Perfect Pearls. I burnished it with a dry baby wipe for a shiny look.

The fox was die-cut and stamped (with the Misti) in Smokey Shadow ink and colored with Copics. I added his scarf cut in Pure Poppy felt and placed him on fun foam for dimension. The banner is die-cut in Kraft cardstock and the sentiment stamped in Tropical Teal ink. I added a few clear sequins  and glitter before adding the snow and putting the globe together.

Scenery Ornaments

I finally got around to using the globe ornaments from the Tinsel & Tags kit I bought last year. These were so much fun to make! But are they hard to photograph!!!!

The first one I did is all white. There are 4 layers inside the ornament, each with foam tape between them for dimension. The first layer is the snowy background die-cut in Aqua Mist cardstock. The next layers are 2) trees, 3) a tree, house and snowman, and the last, 4) a tree and deer. There are snowy hills on the bottom of each layer which you can't see because of the snow inside the globe. And everything has glitter on it!

I added the banner, stamped with Christmas 2015 in Pure Poppy ink. The snow is packaged snow I chopped up smaller with scissors and placed in the ornament. I put it all together and added a red ribbon to hang the ornament.

The next ornament is the same as above except this time I cut everything in watercolor paper and painted the colors. This one you can see a little more of the details. I also used the iridescent snow that came with the kit. I added glitter to everything on this one too!

Happy Holidays To You (Tag #9)

Almost done with posting the tags - just one more to go after this.

I used Tag Sale #4 for this one, cutting it once in white cardstock and once in this bright green pattern paper.  The sentiment is heat embossed in gold.

The holly leaves are die-cut in Pinefeather ink and the edges heat embossed with gold embossing powder. I placed them on foam tape and added the berries cut in Pure Poppy cardstock.

I added a few colored sequins and red ribbon through the tag hole.

Papertrey December Blog Hop Challenge

I didn't think I'd have time for this month's Blog Hop, but I managed to fit it in. And I really didn't want to make another Christmas card, but I still have all my Christmas stuff out so it was easier than trying to come up with another idea.  This is the picture Nichole posted for us to use as inspiration:

On True Black cardstock I stamped the sentiment in Fresh Snow ink. The holly leaves were stamped in Vintage Jadeite on white cardstock and fussy cut...I don't have the dies for this set yet because they keep selling out! I placed the leaves on foam tape for dimension and added the berries, die-cut in Pure Poppy felt. I also used a bit of coarse glitter on the holly leaves.

Because the plates in the picture had a white border/design on them, I drew the lines and dots around the edges of the panel. To give it more of a chalkboard look, I took my dauber and dabbed a little bit of white ink all over the panel to make it seem like chalk dust.

I placed it on a Vintage Jadeite cardstock card base. I think the black, white, red and green colors are so pretty together!

Card Details:
  • Stamps:  PTI Stylish Sentiments: Holiday
  • Paper:  PTI Vintage Jadeite, White Stampers Select, True Black
  • Ink:  PTI Fresh Snow, Vintage Jadeite
  • Dies:  PTI Holly Jolly
  • Other:  Glitter; Gelly Roll Pen; Foam Tape
  • Size:  4.25" x 5.5"

Snowflakes Sparkle

Merry Christmas! This is the card sent to family and friends. I wanted to use the Treetops Glisten stamps and coordinating pattern paper, but when I saw the paper it wasn't going to work for how I originally intended to use it. So I redesigned my thoughts to this....

I started off stamping the trees and sentiment on a piece of Rustic Cream cardstock, using 3 different colors of green ink. The beauty of making this card is I was able to place all 5 trees on the Misti, along with the sentiment, ink up the stamps, close the lid and stamp six things at once! It certainly made the stamping much quicker! I added the tree stumps in Kraft ink and stamped the middle tree with Pure Poppy ink for a little pop of red color.

The snowflakes are gold embossed - I know it's hard to see in the picture. I stamped them in Versamark, sprinkled them with gold embossing powder and melted the powder. I also edged around the panel in Tea Dye ink to give it a more vintage look. The panel is on a Ripe Avocado cardstock card base.

For embellishment, I added a gold metallic ribbon around the top and glitter to the trees.

Details:
  • Stamps:  PTI Treetops Glisten, In The Meadow, Snowflakes Sparkle
  • Paper:  PTI Rustic Cream, Ripe Avocado
  • Ink:  PTI Ripe Avocado, Simply Chartreuse, Spring Moss, Kraft, Pure Poppy; Tim Holtz Tea Dye Distress; Versamark
  • Tools:  Heat Tool
  • Other:  Zing Embossing Powder; Ribbon; Glitter

Christmas Doodad

Would it seem like a holiday if I didn't make a little doodad to give away? This year I decided I wanted to use my new All Through The House kit from PTI, using the matchbox and slider frame dies that come with it. When I was thinking about making them, I originally thought about using assorted cardstock colors for the slider frame, but it was taking too much effort to figure out what pattern papers to use to match things up. Then I thought if I made the main portion (slider frame) of the box white, it would be so much easier to just add pretty pattern papers, because everything goes with white! And I had beautiful packs of pattern paper I bought from Michaels last year - time to use them!!

Inside the doodad is a matchbox type box filled with Hershey Kisses. To make it, I die-cut the matchbox in colored cardstock and assembled it, adding a piece of coordinating pattern paper inside the drawer to match the same pattern paper I used on the outside of the slider frame tag.

The matchbox was taped to each side of the slider frame tags to keep it from falling out! I think if something lightweight was in the box, just tying the ribbon around the slider frame would hold it, but the chocolate is too heavy. Using Scor-tape worked! I also had to tie white crochet twine around the matchbox to keep it from opening.

I added a pretty piece of pattern paper on the outside and used various sentiments. Some of the doodads have tags on the side tied to the ribbon because I didn't want to cover the paper on top. I also tried to make them so they'd be suitable for male or female recipients!

These were so much fun to make and I'm sure I'll be getting a lot of use out of the set!

Ho Ho Ho (Tag #8)

Just a few more tags to post....

For this tag, I used Tag Sale #3, which has open holes all around it. I die-cut it once in white cardstock and again in a layer of light grey pattern paper. I stamped the sentiment in Scarlet Jewel ink.

Santa is die-cut in white and you know I used the Misti to make sure Santa was perfectly stamped in black ink! I colored his image with Copics, adding glitter to his beard and hat trim. I placed him on foam tape for dimension and put a little pompom on his hat.

The tag hole is reinforced with a piece of Scarlet Jewel cardstock, threaded with Stone (grey and white) twine.

Wishing You The Happiest...

Well, the countdown is really on now.....only 3 days left! I'm using Fair Isle Borders again for this card, and two of my favorite colors, Pinefeather and Scarlet Jewel. So much richer looking than your average red and green colors.

On cream cardstock, I stamped the 3 rows of Fair Isle using the Misti to make sure they were absolutely straight and to make sure I had good coverage. I also used the Misti for the sentiment! I placed the panel on a Pinefeather cardstock card base and added jute for the embellishment.

Quick and classy looking, don't you think?

Just Because....

I'm tired of posting holiday items! lol I'm fooling you today with a non-Christmas card! Are you getting as tired of Christmas as I am by now? I needed to take a break from it and whipped up this card. This card uses the technique from Make It Monday #232 - Layered Stamping on Kraft from a few weeks ago.

On Kraft cardstock, I stamped the flowers and leaves twice - first in white ink and then Spring Moss and Berry Sorbet inks. To the large flower, I added another layer stamped in Pure Poppy ink. The flower centers and sentiment are stamped in black ink.

To add a little more white, I edged around the card with ink. I rounded the one right bottom corner to complete the card.

Card Details:
  • Stamps:  PTI Friendly Flowers, Reasons To Smile; WPlus9 Fresh Cut Florals
  • Paper:  PTI Kraft
  • Ink:  PTI Spring Moss, Berry Sorbet, Pure Poppy, Fresh Snow; Memento Tuxedo Black

Merry Christmas (Tag #7)

I wanted to use my new folded tag dies again and Kraft paper and this is what I came up with.

I die-cut the tag in Kraft cardstock and added just a strip of Holiday Plaid pattern paper at the top and Pure Poppy cardstock on the bottom inside.  I stamped the stars in Versamark, sprinkled them with gold embossing powder and melted them. See, I was still in the mood to emboss!

Merry is die-cut three times in Pinefeather cardstock, stacked and glued together. I placed it on a slight angle and stamped Christmas under it in Pure Poppy ink. I used white ink to edge around the tag, because I really like the combination of Kraft cardstock and white ink together!

I added gold ribbon through the tag hole and tied a bell on it with gold cording.

Project Details:
  • Stamps:  PTI Star Scribbles, Snow Globe Sentiments
  • Paper:  PTI Kraft, Pure Poppy, Pinefeather, Holiday Plaid
  • Ink:  PTI Pure Poppy, Fresh Snow; Versamark
  • Dies:  PTI Folded Tags, Wet Paint Holiday
  • Tools:  Heat Tool
  • Other:  Embossing Powder; Bell; Ribbon

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year

Sometimes when I start embossing things, I like to keep doing it. Nothing better than watching the powder melt right before your eyes!

On Pure Poppy cardstock, I stamped the snowflakes in a circle using Versamark ink, sprinkled them with white embossing powder and melted it. I added a clear gem to the centers.

The sentiment is stamped in Pure Poppy ink on white cardstock and layered on another circle of Pinefeather cardstock. I placed the circles on fun foam for dimension.

My last step was adding a bit of white ink around the edges. This was a fun card to make.

Card Details:
  • Stamps:  PTI Snowflake Serenade, Boutique Borders: Christmas
  • Paper:  PTI Pure Poppy, Pinefeather, White Stampers Select
  • Ink:  PTI Pure Poppy, Fresh Snow; Versamark
  • Dies:  Standard Circle Nestabilities

Believe

Well, I'm getting my money's worth out of this set....here's that cute little bear again!

I started with a Scarlet Jewel cardstock card base and added a layer of grey snowflake pattern paper. I die-cut the snow drifts in white cardstock and adhered them to the card, adding a glitter line along the edges. The sentiment is stamped in Scarlet Jewel ink.

The bear is die-cut in white, colored with Copics and on foam tape for dimension. There was too much space on the card so I added the Star of Wonder, die-cut in silver paper and a few clear sequins. Of course, snow makes me think of white fun fur so I added it at the top.

Card Details:
  • Stamps:  PTI Warmest Wishes, Believe
  • Paper:  PTI Scarlet Jewel, White Stampers Select; Stampin' Up All Is Calm DSP; Silver
  • Ink:  PTI Scarlet Jewel
  • Copics:  BG13, R39, T2

Treetops Glisten (Tag #6)

Well, I wanted to make a simple tag, and using Treetops Glisten made it easy to do.

I used Tag Sale #1 for this tag, and die-cut it once in white cardstock and once in tree pattern paper.  The sentiment is die-cut in white, stamped in Pinefeather (thank you MISTI!) and adhered with foam tape for dimension.

I added a strip of gold foil at the bottom, Pinefeather cardstock for the reinforced hole and gold shimmer twine for the tag. Quick and easy!

It's The Most Wonderful Time...

And we're back to Christmas...I said it was a brief break! lol

I'm glad I bought the Star Scribbles set - it can be used to make a quick card like this one. I die-cut the star image and stamped it with Scarlet Jewel ink, using the MISTI perfection! I die-cut it 2 more times and stacked and glued them together.

I'm using just another small strip of my Holiday Plaid paper and placed it on the left hand side of white cardstock. Since there's Ocean Tides in this paper, that's what I stamped the sentiment in. I placed the star die-cut around the sentiment. I used a clear Gelly Roll pen on the stars to add a little shimmer.

The panel is adhered to a Scarlet Jewel cardstock card base. This is really a simple design but I think it looks elegant.

Card Details:
  • Stamps:  PTI Star Scribbles, Seasons Greetings
  • Paper:  PTI Scarlet Jewel, White Stampers Select, Holiday Plaid

Thanks A Bunch

It's the middle of the month so how about a brief break from Christmas items?

I used PTI's Petite Pots Anniversary set for this card.  On white cardstock, I stamped the two flowers in Hibiscus Burst and Berry Sorbet inks, with the stems in Spring Moss ink. The centers of the smaller flowers are stamped in black and the larger flowers with Lemon Tart ink.

I die-cut the pots in white cardstock, stamped them in Kraft ink with a Dark Chocolate ink decoration and placed them on foam tape for a little dimension. The corners are rounded and the panel placed on a Hibiscus Burst cardstock card base. A bit of white crochet thread finished the card.

Card Details:
  • Stamps:  PTI Petite Pots
  • Paper:  PTI Hibiscus Burst, White Stampers Select
  • Ink:  PTI Hibiscus Burst, Berry Sorbet, Kraft, Dark Chocolate, Spring Moss, Lemon Tart; Memento Tuxedo Black

Have Yourself A Merry....(Tag #5)

Moving right along with another tag....I'm glad I used different tags instead of the same one this year.

This tag uses Tag Sale #8. I die-cut the tag in white cardstock and again in light green polka dot paper. The second layer of the tag is die-cut in white cardstock with the sentiment stamped in Pistachio ink.  I edged around it with light pink ink and stamped little swirly snowflakes on it in the same pink ink.

The candy cane is a pipe cleaner cut into a 4 inch length. I covered it with glossy accents and sprinkled coarse glitter on top (idea from Danielle Flanders). I tied a thin green thread on it and adhered it to the tag. I placed the second layer of the tag on fun foam tape for added dimension. The tag hole is threaded with the same green thread.

Project Details:
  • Stamps:  PTI Jolly Holiday, Tag Its #8
  • Paper:  PTI White Stampers Select; Heidi Grace
  • Ink:  Memento Angel Pink, Pistachio
  • Dies:  PTI Tag Sale #8

Seasons Greetings

Here's the card I made for my parent's mail carrier. My friend Jill is always looking for "postal" type stamps for me and found this one on Taylored Expressions.  Thank you Jill!

I stamped the mailbox image on white cardstock that was die-cut using a stitched rectangle die. The image is stamped in black ink and colored with Copics. I added gold Pearl Pen to the trees to make the ornaments look dimensional. I also added a glitter line below the trees, on the mailbox and the very top of the post.

Seasons Greetings is stamped in Pure Poppy ink and on fun foam for dimension. I placed a piece of fun foam on the panel and adhered it to a white card base, layered with Holiday Plaid pattern paper. It was tough using a whole piece of this Holiday paper, lol, but I thought the colors I used on this matched this particular pattern perfectly!

The top of the card looked too empty so I added the clouds, placed on foam tape for dimension. Such a cute stamp!

Card Details:
  • Stamps:  PTI Keep It Simple: Seasons Greetings, Postmarks; Taylored Expressions You've Got Mail Christmas
  • Paper:  PTI White Stampers Select, Holiday Plaid

Love, love, love all things Fair Isle! I like it so much I just bought a "Fair Isle" throw from Kohls that is so pretty!

For this card, I started with white cardstock and stamped the 3 rows of design in Aqua Mist and Pure Poppy inks. The sentiment is stamped in black ink.

I placed the panel on an Aqua Mist cardstock card base and tied red Fun Fur around the spine. Simple!

Merry Christmas (Tag #4)

You know how much I like Warmest Wishes....so here's another tag using this fun stamp set!

I used Tag Sale #5, cut in white cardstock and layered with a striped, light grey pattern paper. The trees were die-cut and colored with Evergreen Bough distress ink and highlighted with Copics.

The fox is die-cut in white cardstock and colored with Copics. His scarf is cut in Tropical Teal cardstock. I added flock to his tail and placed him on Fun Foam for dimension.

The banner is die-cut in Kraft cardstock and the sentiment stamped in Tropical Teal ink. I added glitter to the trees and the fox's scarf and a few clear sequins. Cappuccino twine was used for the gift tag tie. He looks so happy standing there all dressed up in his pretty scarf! lol

Project Details:
  • Stamps:  PTI Warmest Wishes, Snow Globe Sentiments

'Tis The Season (MIM #234 Embellishing With Felt)

I have lots and lots of felt....and I hardly ever use it. Seeing this week's Make It Monday #234 - Embellishing With Felt made me want to pull it out and use it. And as much as I really didn't want to make another Christmas card, somehow holly leaves and red berries popped into my head.

On white cardstock, I stamped the holly leaves twice with New Leaf ink, the first time fully inked and the second time with the ink stamped off once, and stamped with the image slightly off so it gives a shadow like effect.

I added a thin strip of Holiday Plaid at the bottom. I have mentioned how much I like this pattern pack...and yes, I'm stingy about using it! lol The colors in this strip are New Leaf, white and Pure Poppy, so of course, it coordinates with my card colors perfectly!

I looked for a die that would cut the berries and couldn't find anything. Then I realized Tag Sale #6 has that extra piece to reinforce the tag hole and was the perfect size for my berries! I cut a bunch of them in Pure Poppy felt and arranged them on the card. Once I was happy with the way they looked, I glued them to the card.

The sentiment (Dawn McVey's beautiful handwriting!) is stamped in black ink. For some sparkle, I added glitter to the leaves. The felt really adds a nice touch. Thank you Ashley!

  • Ink:  PTI New Leaf; Memento Tuxedo Black

Merry Christmas

Two years ago I bought Background Basics: Evergreens and I think only used it once. It must not have been a big seller because it's already in PTI's "Vault" (stamps no longer carried in regular inventory). Well, I decided to pull it out and use it on this card. I like this stamp set - it really makes a nice border....I have to remember to use it more often!

On Rustic White cardstock, I stamped the rows of trees in Ripe Avocado ink, leaving space for the sentiment. The sentiment is actually heat embossed in gold - too hard to see with this picture.

I rounded the corners on the panel and placed it on a Ripe Avocado cardstock card base. After seeing PTI's Make It Monday #233 about splattering, I decided to splatter some Mr. Huey's Gold Mist on the card. It added a nice touch! To add even more gold, I tied gold ribbon around the spine. The picture is a little dark - the card looks much better in person!

Let It Snow (Tag #3)

Every year I make a selection of gift tags - I made 10 this year. The first two I made are the folded tags I made for PTI's October Blog Hop Challenge, posted here.

For this tag, I used Tag Sale #2, cut in white cardstock. I added a layer of snowflake pattern paper and stamped the sentiment in Pure Poppy ink.

The bear is die-cut in white cardstock and colored with Copics. I placed the bear on fun foam for dimension. I added the die-cut silver snowflakes and fun fur for the tag string.

Happy Hanukkah

Ok, yesterday was an easy card, today a little more complex. A shaker card - I like making them but they take me a little longer to do. I still have to carefully think about how to do it step by step each time. I'd like to take credit for this card idea, but I saw it on Heather Nichols blog - she made this style a few years ago.

I die-cut the menorah in Blueberry Sky cardstock. On the back of the cardstock, I placed a piece of acetate over the menorah opening. Next, I placed foam tape all around it and put diamond dust and silver tinsel glitter in the middle. I sealed the shaker with a piece of cardstock, making sure there were no openings. I don't want someone to shake this and have tinsel fly all over the place!  lol

To add some dimension, I layered fun foam on the back of cardstock and adhered it to an Enchanted Evening cardstock card base. Happy Hanukkah is heat embossed in silver embossing powder on a strip of Enchanted Evening cardstock.

I was going to put silver adhesive strips around the card but thought this silver fun fur would be a little different. Plus it sort of matches the silver tinsel in the shaker. The one thing I don't like about using the tinsel glitter is that it sticks to the acetate. I'm not sure if anything can be done to prevent that from happening.

Card Details:
  • Stamps:  PTI Menorah Medley, Keep It Simple: Hanukkah
  • Paper:  PTI Blueberry Sky, Enchanted Evening
  • Ink:  Versamark
  • Dies:  PTI Menorah Medley
  • Tools:  Heat Tool

Sending Best Wishes

And here's another easy card....

I used this pretty ornament pattern paper and placed it on a white cardstock card base.

I die-cut the stitched rectangle and stamped the sentiment in Pure Poppy ink. The sentiment is on fun foam for dimension. I really like how the foam gives a nice, solid base.

Oh, did I mention - that's it, the card is done!

  • Ink:  PTI Pure Poppy

Let It Snow

I love patterns with Fair Isle. And I have to make a slight confession here. I didn't realize it was a real pattern name. When I bought PTI's Fair Isle stamp sets, I thought Nichole cleverly named it Fair Isle. It wasn't until I was looking on Kohl's website and saw a blanket in a "Fair Isle" pattern that I realized the name "Fair Isle" wasn't something that just belonged to PTI. lol

I stamped the two rows of trees in Scarlet Jewel ink on white cardstock. Snow is die-cut in Scarlet Jewel cardstock, stamped with Versamark ink, sprinkled with silver tinsel embossing powder and heat set. I die-cut an additional two snow words and you guessed it, stacked and glued them together. I stamped "let it" above it also in Scarlet Jewel ink. I placed the panel on a Scarlet Jewel cardstock card base.

Okay, you know how I feel about snow and white fun fur - they are just made to go together so I wrapped some around the top of the card.

Card Details:
  • Stamps:  PTI Fair Isle Borders, Wonderful Words: Snow
  • Paper:  PTI Scarlet Jewel, White Stampers Select
  • Ink:  PTI Scarlet Jewel; Versamark
  • Dies:  PTI Wonderful Words: Snow
  • Tools:  Heat Tool
  • Other:  Zing Embossing Powder; Fun Fur

You Must Have Been Very Good This Year

When I was trying to clean up my craft area, I found a pack of paper I bought from PTI a few months ago - Ribbon Slider pattern paper. I don't remember what my plans were for this paper...so here's a card!

The ribbon paper looked like it had Ocean Tides and Pure Poppy in it, so that's the colors I used. On white cardstock I stamped the snowflakes in Pure Poppy ink. On the Ribbon Slider paper, I punched a hole in the top and bottom and threaded it with a red and silver ribbon. I place it on foam tape and mounted it to an Ocean Tides cardstock card base.

To help bring out the silver on the ribbon, I dotted all the snowflakes with silver Stickles. This was another quick and easy card!

Card Details:
  • Stamps:  PTI Holiday Treats
  • Paper:  PTI Ocean Tides, White Stampers Select, Ribbon Slider Tag Collection
  • Ink:  PTI Pure Poppy
  • Other:  Ribbon; Foam Tape; Stickles
  • Size:  4.25" x 5.5"

Baby Shower

It's been a while since I made a baby card. Again, for this card I was just fooling around with watercoloring. I need to get better at it since it seems like this trend is going to be around for a while yet.

On watercolor paper, I wet the paper and brushed on watered down Picked Rasperry ink. After it dried, I cut the circle with a stitched circle die. On white cardstock, I added a layer of Soft Stone stripes pattern paper. Baby is die-cut in Soft Stone cardstock three times, stacked and glued together. I rubbed glue on the top of the word and dipped it in glitter.

On a piece of black cardstock I stamped "shower", sprinked it with white embossing powder and heat set it. I really like the look of the white on black! I placed the word on foam tape for dimension. The card was really empty looking so I added the clear sequins.

Card Details:
  • Stamps:  PTI Wonderful Words: Baby
  • Paper:  PTI White Stampers Select, Soft Stone, Soft Stone Stripes, True Black; Watercolor 140#
  • Ink:  Versamark; Tim Holtz Distress Picked Raspberry
  • Dies:  PTI Wonderful Words: Baby; Lil Inker Designs: Stitched Mats: Circles
  • Tools:  Heat Tool
  • Other:  Embossing Powder; Glitter; Sequins; Foam Tape
  • Size:  4.25" x 5.5"
